Juniper & Co. Lunch: A Statement in Sustainability and Creativity

Creating an Experience, Not just a Meal

As we welcomed 2025, the team at Juniper & Co. felt it was time to come out and show our industry who we really are. 2025 marked a new chapter. Our mission? To make ourselves known, to showcase the heart of Juniper & Co. and what we truly stand for—bespoke seasonal menus, sustainability at the forefront, and a deep commitment to turning food into both a feast for the senses and a tool for social good.

We wanted to create something truly unforgettable, which pushes boundaries and really reveals what it means to be part of our Juniper and Co. family - We’re not just about catering; we’re about curating experiences - experiences that are as unforgettable as the food we serve.

Our guiding words? Genius, Creative, and Bold.

Styling around Produce: The Heart of the Vision

For us, produce isn’t just an ingredient—it’s the star. It was really important that we styled everything around produce to not only highlight the beauty of seasonal ingredients but also to emphasize the sustainable practices at our core. We’d seen produce on tables before, but we wanted more, we wanted to go further. We wanted to make the produce shine, really highlighting how food can create memories and atmosphere.

We partnered with Jamie from Brash Studios and Josh from 2-Serve to find the most gorgeous, seasonal produce available, which was then artistically curated into breathtaking centerpieces. Picture cascading lemons, freshly dug potatoes, blossoming seasonal rhubarb, and gorgeous ripe plum tomatoes. Every detail was carefully selected and arranged to reflect our commitment to creativity, quality, and sustainability.

A Menu to Match the Vision

It wasn’t just about the styling though. Our food needed to reflect our vision. Our amazing Head Chef crafted a menu aiming to share the many different ways our produce can be used, bringing each ingredient to life in unexpected and delightful ways. Guests were treated to dishes such as maple-glazed chicory as a starter, Dry Aged Dingley Dell Pork for main, and a showstopping Yorkshire Rhubarb Choux for dessert, each bite a celebration of the season’s finest offerings. To accentuate the taste buds, we partnered with Les Caves de Pyrene to pair each dish with either wine or low/no offerings. 

A Vision for the Future: Zero Waste

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us - it’s embedded in every part of what we do. With zero waste as our guiding principle, we ensured that every piece of produce, every ingredient, could be given a second life. 

We crafted bespoke, sustainable pouches not only as a practical takeaway option but also a meaningful nod to sustainability and creative partnerships. Each pouch was filled with hand-made truffles, a sustainable brown bag, and nods to our many like-minded sponsors. Guests were invited to forage the tables, taking home as much as they wanted in their sustainable brown bags;  A true nod to the star of the show - the produce itself. A reminder of an event that celebrated the best of the season, sustainability and collaboration all round.

Committed to giving back, any leftover produce from the event was donated to our charity partner, Branches, a homeless charity based in East London. Branches provide temporary accommodation and resettlement support for single homeless adults aged 18 to 65 who face complex and varying support needs, including mental health challenges, addiction, social isolation, and more. Their mission is to support, encourage, and facilitate positive change, helping residents move towards independence and permanent housing.

A Vision Fulfilled: Creativity, Sustainability, and Purpose

The event was more than just a celebration of food: it was a reflection of what Juniper & Co. stands for - bold, creative, sustainable and always striving for something greater. 

Food should do more than just fill the plate. This is the beginning. As we look ahead, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of catering - creating bespoke, seasonal experiences whilst making a lasting impact.
